Some players have returned from injury and are in contention to play. However, not everyone will be able to partake unfortunately. Let’s see how the Reds could lineup for the final time under Jurgen Klopp.

Obviously Alisson will be in goal as that is a foregone conclusion. Quansah has been the better player over Konate in recent weeks and he deserves the chance to end his season on a high in such an emotional match.

Robbo is healthy and should be a lock for the Starting XI just as Alexander-Arnold should be in. Conor Bradley is back and could make an appearance, but this does not seem like a day he should start.

Admittedly, Mac Allister will probably start this match. However, I don’t think he should as he looked quite fatigued in the Aston Villa match and Gravenberch and Elliott have both been playing well and could do with a start in the finale.

The front three should remain unchanged as they are still playing well, especially Gakpo, who has looked like a new player over the last month.

In such a nostalgic and sentimental match, the feeling and desire to field a lot of the players from the past could pop up. Thiago and Diogo Jota for example are names that come to mind.

Joel Matip has also been training this week and despite it being confirmed that he is leaving on a free, the Anfield faithful will surely want to see him off properly.

Ultimately, Wolves are a decent side that always battles Liverpool tough. With so many emotions expected to be flowing on Sunday, it will be interesting to see how both teams start the match.

If Klopp goes with an attacking side he could try to kill the game off early which could mean the rest of the action is a celebration of the previous nine years. However they set themselves up, the eleven players named will be remembered as the last Starting XI at Liverpool given by Klopp. A huge honor.
