Allen exited Game 2 due to an apparent ankle injury after scoring three points on one-for-two shooting.
During Game 2 against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first-round series on Tuesday, Phoenix Suns guard Grayson Allen seemed to worsen the sprained right ankle he sustained in the playoff opener, causing him to limp off the court in the third quarter. The injury occurred while defending Mike Conley’s drive to the lane, resulting in an awkward landing on his right leg. Allen required assistance to leave the court and head to the locker room.
Despite being listed as questionable before the game, Allen, who led the NBA in 3-point shooting percentage during the season, demonstrated his determination to play. However, his performance was limited, going scoreless in Game 1 and scoring only three points in Game 2, playing 25 and 17 minutes respectively.
