Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy has praised Liverpool striker Diogo Yota. Jota opened the scoring for the Reds, who returned to the top half of the Premier League with a 3-1 win over Burnley on Saturday 10 February.
Jason Cundy discussed the match with team-mate Dean Sanders and praised the Portugal international. Saunders said he could play for any team in the world, while Cundy praised how complete the Liverpool striker is. Dean Saunders was quoted by HITC Sport as saying: “I love it every time I see Jota play. “He can play for any team,” he said. Kandy praised Jota’s overall ability and noted how good a shot he is for anyone in the air. The former Chelsea defender said:”
He’s a great player. She is honestly such a nice person. he is really good He has great feet, is great in the air and has a versatile game. “He’s better in the air than his size suggests.” Jota has been outstanding for Liverpool this season, especially when Mohamed Salah was away at the AFCON.
The Portuguese forward has made 17 league appearances this season, including 10 as a substitute. During this period, he scored 14 goals and 3 assists. Jota has become a key player for the Reds since his £41million move to Anfield from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2020. The 27-year-old has made 140 appearances for Liverpool so far, scoring 55 of goals and providing 20 assists.

He is one of the main players of the Imanol Alguacil team, scoring 4 goals in 34 matches this season.
