According to a new report via CaughtOffside, French youngster Leny Yoro has been a candidate the Merseyside club is looking at along with several other clubs.

The 18-year-old has attracted interest from Manchester United, Arsenal, Newcastle United within PL and Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid across Europe.

 

This increased demand for the Lille defender could see his price reach a greater number than the reported price tag of €45-50M.

Yoro has already made 36 appearances for Les Dogues under Paulo Fonseca across all competitions averaging 1.1 tackles, 1.1 interceptions, 1.4 aerials won and a 92.1% passing accuracy rate while bagging two goals (stats correct as of 19.05.24) (stats via Whoscored).

The right-footed 190 cm centre-back is capable of playing from the back with his ability to control the game from the back.
