This year’s fifth round will again take place on the last working days of each month: Monday (26), Tuesday (27) and Wednesday (28).
The last 16 has been rearranged from the 2019/20 season, with the Premier League and the English Football League deciding to play matches over three weekdays to avoid too many matches being played simultaneously.
This will change this season (2019/20) when Premier League clubs will be allowed a winter break. Each of the eight matches in the fifth round will be shown on ITV or the BBC, with the Liverpool match selected to be shown on both ITV and STV.
There is no repetition in the fifth round, and all competitions are organized at night and if necessary. Here is the full list of the fifth round tires.
