Liverpool youngster Conor Bradley is described as ‘world-class’ for future by Joe Cole. The 20-year old helped the Reds in thrashing Sparta Prague out of Europa League on Thursday. Although he did not got much defensive work to do in the game and was over the attack for majority of time.
The 20-year-old spent most of his time on the pitch coming inside to help as the inverted right-back, as well as drifting forward and being a solid option on the right. With Liverpool’s vice-captain Trent Alexander Arnold sidelined, Bradley has stepped up as an ideal heir to him.
JOE COLE SUMS PRAISE FOR LIVERPOOL ACADEMY GRADUATE
The impact of Bradley is so good that Jor described it as ‘tough’ for Klopp to select when both right-backs are fit. He said on TNT Sports,
“It’s a fantastic problem to have, two fantastic players. Trent’s clearly a world-class player and Conor Bradley is well on his way to becoming that already.”
The England U21 is another example of how good Liverpool academy is. The likes of Trent Alexander Arnold, Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones and Jarell Quansah are already in the first team under Jurgen Klopp. Now, Bradley looks to be set on the same path like his forefellows. He is an outstanding talent and it’ll be exciting to see how he continues to develop for Liverpool.
Although he is not the only one making it into the senior squad this season. Jaden Danns, James McConnell, Bobby Clark and Quansah are his mates from the academy currently appearing for the club. A very huge credit is due to the coaches and staff of the academy. They are constantly delivering such top prodigy talents. Hail to the setup of youths for the role they played in turning another top prospect into a genuine Premier League star.
