On Sunday afternoon, Liverpool went back to the top of the Premier League table after a hard-fought victory against the Seagulls.
Roberto De Zerbi’s men stunned Anfield into utter silence within two minutes after Danny Welbeck lashed the ball into the back of Caoimhin Kelleher’s goal.
Luis Diaz scored Liverpool’s equaliser before talisman Mohamed Salah netted the eventual winner with 65 minutes on the clock.
Despite showing some nerves towards the end of the match, Liverpool held on to take home all three points.
After the match, it was revealed that Klopp has now managed 300 wins across all competitions as the Liverpool manager.
The German has followed in the footsteps of Bob Paisley, Tom Watson and Bill Shankly to achieve this astonishing feat.
Speaking after the match, Klopp said: “We dominated in a lot of moments in a way we never have before against Brighton. We played good football and caused problems.
“We cannot calm them down for whole 90 minutes, that’s clear. But in so many moments we did really well after a super tricky start. We were not in a rush in our build up, but in our finishing were in a rush.”
