BREAKING NEWS: Former Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Spurned by Legendary AFC Team

 

 

Aaron Rodgers’ run with the New York Jets may be over after just two years, and finding a new team could prove difficult. The Jets are interviewing candidates for general manager and head coach, and the turnover may bring a shift under center.

Rodgers acknowledged the uncertainty on “The Pat McAfee Show,” saying, “I think everybody understands that it’s gonna come down to the GM, coach and myself… Whether we all want to do a dance together, or if it’s not in the cards.”

The Pittsburgh Steelers, who may need a new quarterback in 2025, have reportedly shown no interest in Rodgers. Gary Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said, “I can tell you that it won’t be Aaron Rodgers… They have no interest in doing that.”

 

Despite the lack of interest, some have floated the idea of the Steelers pursuing Rodgers and former Packers wide receiver Davante Adams as a package deal. However, the Steelers’ lack of interest in Rodgers is indicative of a thin market for quarterbacks.
