Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Ryan Watts has shared an update on his recovery from a preseason neck injury.
Watts, who was drafted by the Steelers in the 7th round of the 2023 NFL Draft, suffered the injury during the team’s preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. He was subsequently placed on injured reserve, ending his rookie season.
On Wednesday, Watts took to Twitter to share an update on his recovery, stating that he will remain optimistic despite the setback.
“I want to thank everyone for the love and support I’ve received since my injury,” Watts wrote. “I’m still in the process of recovering, but I will remain optimistic and attack this rehab process with the same passion and dedication I have for the game.”
