St. Brown, who had a breakout season in 2022 under Randle El’s guidance, took to social media to express his gratitude and appreciation for his former coach.

“Coach Randle El, I don’t even know where to start,” St. Brown wrote on Twitter. “You came into my life at a time when I needed guidance and mentorship. You helped me develop not only as a player but as a man. Your coaching and leadership were instrumental in my growth and success.”

St. Brown went on to praise Randle El’s coaching style and the impact he had on the Lions’ wide receiver corps.

 

“Your ability to connect with each and every one of us, to understand our strengths and weaknesses, and to push us to be our best selves was truly remarkable,” St. Brown wrote. “You created a culture of accountability, hard work, and camaraderie that will be hard to replicate.”

The departure of Randle El is a significant loss for the Lions, who will need to find a new coach to lead their wide receiver corps.
