Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett adds another honor for his 2024 season, with one more big one potentially on the way

 

Cleveland Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett has added another award to his impressive collection, as he was named the Pro Football Writers of America’s (PFWA) Defensive Player of the Year for the 2024 season.

Garrett, who was also named a First-Team All-Pro by the Associated Press and a Pro Bowl starter, had a dominant season in 2024, recording 16 sacks, 24 tackles for loss, and 34 quarterback hits. He also forced four fumbles and recovered two, helping to lead the Browns to a 12-5 record and a playoff appearance.
