Seven more massage therapists have accused Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker of sexually inappropriate conduct, the Baltimore Banner reported Sunday.
A total of 16 massage therapists from eight Baltimore-area spas have now shared their alleged accounts with the Banner. All say Tucker’s actions occurred between his 2012 rookie year and 2016.
The Banner first reported allegations against Tucker on Jan. 30, saying it had spoken with six massage therapists who recounted firsthand experiences with him. The number of accusers increased to nine, with three more reported on Feb. 1, before Sunday’s latest development.
Tucker released a statement after the initial allegations emerged on Jan. 30 saying that he has never received any complaints from a massage therapist or been told he was not welcome at a spa or other place of business.
The Ravens organization released a statement regarding the initial allegations on the same day: “We are aware of the Baltimore Banner’s story regarding Justin Tucker as well as his response. We take any allegations of this nature seriously and will continue to monitor the situation.”
The NFL did on Jan. 30, as well, stating it “first became aware of the allegations from the reporter investigating this story” and will “look into the matter.” When asked for further comment on Sunday, the NFL said that “the matter remains under review of the personal conduct policy.”
Tucker, who signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Texas in 2012, is the most accurate kicker in NFL history, with an 89.1 career FG percentage and seven Pro Bowl nominations. He won Super Bowl XLVII with Baltimore as a rookie.
