Good News: Netflix Debuts Documentary on New Orleans Saints, Showcasing the Team’s Rich History and Resilience

The documentary series explores the team’s early years, including its founding in 1967 and its struggles to find success on the field. It also delves into the team’s Super Bowl XLIV championship season in 2009, which marked a turning point for the franchise and the city of New Orleans.

One of the most compelling aspects of the documentary series is its exploration of the team’s role in the city’s recovery from Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The team’s return to the Superdome in 2006, after a year of playing on the road, is highlighted as a pivotal moment in the city’s rebirth.
