Bo Davis, while staying in-state, is reportedly leaving LSU.
Per Luke Johnson of New Orleans Times-Picayune, Davis will be becoming the new defensive line coach for the New Orleans Saints.
Davis had been back at his alma mater for one season as the defensive line coach for the Tigers. He started his coaching career in Baton Rouge as well as a graduate assistant and strength and conditioning coach from 1995 to 1997 and an assistant strength and conditioning coach from 2002 to 2005
That’s after previous stops at Texas and Alabama with two tenures apiece with the Longhorns (2011-2013 and 2021-2023) and the Crimson Tide (2007-2010 and 2014-2015).
This is now the second stop in the pros for Davis. He was the defensive line coach for the Detroit Lions from 2018-2020 while being an assistant defensive line and strength and conditioning coach for the Miami Dolphins in 2006.
That’s after previous stops at Texas and Alabama with two tenures apiece with the Longhorns (2011-2013 and 2021-2023) and the Crimson Tide (2007-2010 and 2014-2015).
