Straight to the point The lime up came through and there was a lil surprise in
Sanchez, James, Colwill, Badiashille, Cucurella started in defense
Lavia, Caicedo and Enzo in the midfield with palmer, Neto and Delap upfront
We started the game at s very high intensity and Benfica was confused from the word go… Palmer had to play in the left wing for the first time…
The midfield was on point and truth be told Lavia playing with Caicedo makes Moises a little bit lost in the game…. The guy was everywhere to an extent that before extra time he was among the contenders for player of the match untill he was subbed off and Caicedo claimed it
Cucurella had to balance as a 3 and 11 something that saw he get too exhausted, he was so near to scoring almost hatrick in the first half thanks to the goalkeeper

Everything was moving swiftly untill the game was temporarily suspended
We got back and of course Benfica had to fight for a goal which they got… At a point i was scared because we had made defensive changes only to just hold on to the win but fortunately a ref card for Benfica played a huge role
Thanks To Nkunku as he made sure he fight to get that goal… I’ve never seen Maresca celebrate a goal like this before 😳😳😳 Coco nut head ran like a mad man and you could see the passion in him
