HE’S BACK IN THE NFL: Former Boston College Star Center Alec Lindstrom Signs with the Patriots

The New England Patriots have officially signed former Boston College standout center Alec Lindstrom, bringing the gritty offensive lineman back to his home region. The team announced the move Wednesday afternoon as part of a series of roster changes.

 

Lindstrom carved out a stellar college career at Boston College from 2017 to 2021, earning three All-ACC selections and establishing himself as one of the most reliable centers in the conference. Known for his high football IQ and technical skill, he became a fan favorite among Eagles supporters.

After going undrafted, Lindstrom signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 2022 and later had short stints with the Los Angeles Rams, New York Jets, and even played in the UFL with the Memphis Showboats.

Now, he’s getting another shot in the NFL — this time with a team known for developing under-the-radar talent.
