$66m option tops ‘6-man shortlist’ amid Joshua Kimmich verdict

The Reds have drawn up a list of six January targets, with Joshua Kimmich showing interest from one club in particular.Liverpool are chasing a fourth trophy this season after Arsenal were knocked out of the FA Cup in the Gunners’ backyard. Jurgen Klopp is happy with his squad and rightly so.

A 2-0 win at the Emirates Stadium, thanks to an own goal from Jakub Kiwior and a late goal from Luis Diaz, earned the Reds a draw in the fourth round. They know who they will face on Monday night and will be hoping for an easier draw this time around.Regardless of the opposition, Klopp’s side have the potential to win every competition they enter this season.

Qualification for Wembley could be getting closer this week as Liverpool face Fulham in the Carabao Cup semi-final and the Reds are also favorites to win the Europa League. But Liverpool may need new signings in the January transfer window if they are to keep their hopes of success alive, including in the Premier League.

A long list of injuries and international absences from Mohamed Salah and Wataru Endo have stretched Klopp’s side to the limit. But a new report suggests the Liverpool manager could have a list of options to ease the pressure.

Joshua Kimmich
Joshua Kimmich wants to reunite with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City despite recently being linked with Liverpool, according to the Daily Star. The Reds, Manchester City and Manchester United are all eyeing a move for the midfielder to Bayern, with a January move costing $64m (€50m).

However, Manchester City plan to wait until the summer, after which the amount is expected to be reduced to around $32 million. Kimmich is aware of the interest from the European champions and Guardiola also likes him.

Kimmich would be an interesting signing for Liverpool. Given that he can play as a midfielder or right-back, he could be a great signing and give Liverpool another option in two positions that they are still interested in. But if City are really interested, Guardiola is likely to sign him.
The team would have been much stronger without Rodri, but with Kimmich turning 29 in the summer, it wasn’t a long-term solution

Gonzalo Inacio
Gonzalo Inacio tops Liverpool’s January transfer list, according to Buitespel. The Sporting CP defender has been linked with Liverpool for some time and the rumors are set to intensify this month.
