Jordan Henderson has apologized for leaving the LGBTQ community after leaving Saudi Arabia


Jordan Henderson has apologized for his harsh criticism of Saudi Arabia but said his “beliefs have never changed”.The former Liverpool midfielder spoke in Amsterdam on Friday (19 January) following his move to Ajax after spending six months at Al Etti Park in Saudi Arabia.

At the press conference, Henderson was asked if he thought he was “building bridges” when dealing with the LGBTQ community, who have been vocal allies in the Premier League. “If I offended anyone or people offended me, I apologize for that and I apologize again.

But as I said earlier, my beliefs have not changed and will not change in the future.” “You can only apologize when people are offended. But I haven’t changed as a person. I never changed.”
