Absolutely reasonable – Liverpool have signed mo Salah replacement

Liverpool are ready to replace Mohamed Salah if the Egyptian leaves the club, according to former Liverpool striker Michael Owen. Salah moved to Saudi Arabia in recent months after picking up an injury while playing for Egypt in the current AFCON. Several attempts to sign the player have so far failed and the 31-year-old’s agent has revealed he is already being linked with a move to Liverpool this summer.

But whether Salah stays or Salah goes, he will eventually leave the club either by retirement or transfer. And when that day comes, United will fill a huge void with Salah’s goal-scoring prowess and unparalleled chance-creating ability.

But two-time Ballon d’Or winner and Premier League Golden Boot striker Owen insists Darwin Nunes will replace Salah if he continues to improve and maintain his form. Owen told talkSPORT: “Nunez is a player who divides opinion. “Someone has to step up or take the place of the person trying to replace his goal. He (Nunes) can be the only one on the team. That’s his goal.” You can do this. I can see him becoming an absolute force in the Premier League.
