Gary Neville shares the club he believes Jurgen Klopp could join after leaving Liverpool

 

Gary Neville has now been having his say who he believes Jurgen Klopp could manage once he leaves his Liverpool post.

It almost feels as if every Liverpool display right now is a tribute to one of their greats, with last night’s 4-1 win against Chelsea proving to be another Klopp mastermind.

And as well as being a celebration of their manager, Liverpool’s performance also bodes well for their title hopes.

Conor Bradley was brilliant once again on the right, and Klopp does now have a difficult decision ahead of a trip to Arsenal on Sunday.

That being said, both Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher have now been discussing where Jurgen Klopp could find his next job after Liverpool.

 

Perhaps the German will take some time off, he did cite how fatigued he was feeling.

But it seems Neville has already thought of one avenue Klopp may take.

Gary Neville thinks Jurgen Klopp could manage Barcelona after Liverpool

Speaking on the ‘Stick to Football’ podcast, Carragher initially said he couldn’t see Klopp managing either of Spain’s historic duo, but Neville thought otherwise.

Carragher said: “He will have options but I couldn’t imagine Jurgen Klopp managing Real Madrid or Barcelona.”

Neville then replied: “I couldn’t see him at Real Madrid but I could see him at Barcelona.”

 

Of course, either would probably be a shock to Liverpool fans, especially if it was immediately after his Anfield tenure.

The Barcelona job will be available in the summer once Xavi steps down, which may even provide competition to sign Xabi Alonso.

That being said, a 58-year-old treble-winner has now been linked with the Liverpool job.
