I’ve been lucky enough to wear some fantastic shirts in my career. He wore the classic white shirt for England in the World Cup, Liverpool and Tottenham in the FA Cup final. But my favorite game may surprise you: Portsmouth, 2008-09. Yes, it may sound a little confusing, but it was beautiful. Everything was covered with black gold.

The first time I wore this uniform, I scored a goal. A 3-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park. It was his first game since joining Pompey from Liverpool. One thing I do remember is that it was made by a manufacturer called Canterbury who supplied kit to many rugby teams.

The bonus is that they personally know how to dress tall athletes, so their clothing and sports kit always fit me perfectly.
