Liverpool would win Premier League title with Kevin De Bruyne

Well, according to Jamie Carragher, Kevin De Bruyne has been the main difference between Liverpool and Manchester City in recent years.

The Sky Sports pundit has noted how City have beaten Liverpool to the Premier League title over the past few years.

The former Liverpool defender thinks that De Bruyne has been the main reason and has added that if Liverpool had the £55 million (BBC Sport) midfielder in their team, then they would win the league title.

Carragher said on Sky Sports Premier League (10:19 pm, February 5, 2024): “I think he has been the difference really for Manchester City when you think of how often they have probably pipped Liverpool in terms of the league title.

 

“If you put him in a Liverpool shirt, Liverpool would win the league. I think that’s how dominant he is.”

My View: Kevin De Bruyne would walk into Liverpool team

In my opinion, Kevin De Bruyne is one of the greatest midfielders to have played in the Premier League and would walk into the current Liverpool team.

The Belgium international midfielder is at the top of his game at the moment, and I think that he would make Liverpool a better team in the middle of the park, even at the age of 32.

De Bruyne has made 246 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. He has scored 65 goals and given 105 assists in those games.

 

The Belgian, who has already said that he will not join Liverpool, has won the Premier League title five times and the UEFA Champions League once with City.
