Saudi Arabian Pro League club Al Ittihad have not given up on the signing of Mohamed Salah, according to The Athletic.According to reports, they are prepared to offer up to £200m for his services in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Such a large sum would certainly attract the attention of Liverpool. This will not only increase the transfer budget significantly, but also make it easier to rebuild other parts of the squad, allowing the new manager to shape the squad in his own image. In response to the Salah rumours, HITC reports that Liverpool are eyeing Juventus winger Federico Chiesa as a potential long-term replacement.

The report states that the 26-year-old, a key figure for Max Allegri, is currently in the spotlight as talks over a contract extension stall. According to Voetbalkrant, the 20-year-old, also a winger, is receiving “substantial interest” from the Anfield club and is currently worth around €40m (£34m) and is under contract until 2026 .

Manchester United are not the only club looking for talent in Eindhoven. Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are eyeing one of Belgium’s hottest young talents. According to Italian media, Liverpool have made inquiries about Lecce left-back Patrick Dorgu.
