Liverpool have been linked with a number of defenders ahead of the January transfer window, including Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly. Football Insider revealed that the Reds and Tottenham are interested in signing the player in the winter transfer window, with the Cherries valuing him at around £25-30m.
News – Liverpool are being linked with a move to Anfield to sign the £5m-a-year manager. Seb Acrivine Foot recently reported that Liverpool are in preliminary talks with Kelly to sign Bosman in the summer. The 25-year-old defender’s current contract at the Vitality Stadium expires in June this year and according to French journalists, he will reject an extension in favor of leaving for free.
Kelly is a centre-back by nature but has played mostly on the left for Bournemouth this season. Last month, he played 35 minutes in the Premier League against Liverpool in a 4-0 win.
Overall, the England defender has made 14 appearances in all competitions for the Cherries so far this campaign. At Anfield, Liverpool have quality and depth at left-back with the likes of Robertson and Tsimikas. As for central defence, Matip expires in June and Van Dijk turns 33 in July.
Should Liverpool sign Lloyd Kelly to help Bosman strengthen their backline?
