Manchester United are interested in OGC Nice midfielder Kefren Thuram, who could join Liverpool in the summer of 2023, according to Tutto Mercato Web. Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s INEOS Group recently bought a minority stake in the Red Devils.
INEOS also owns Ligue 1 side Nice. Therefore, there could also be a transfer between the two clubs. Center back Jean-Clair Tobido is already on United’s radar. This dialog is now addressed to Eric Ten Hag.
Manchester is already in Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Bruno Fernandes, mountains, young Cobby Mico. But the Sofyan Amrabat loan in Fiorentina is not expected to be stable. Also, Casemiro did not show the consistency of the president in Real Madrid and there was no need to deal with injuries.
This season he appeared in 15 matches, scoring 4 goals and 2 assists. Christian Eriksen has also been linked with exit talks. Central midfielder Thuram could be a big asset to Ten Hag’s side. Thuram is the son of the legendary Lilian Thuram and the brother of Inter Milan player Marcus Thuram.
The 22-year-old is also a top midfielder in his own right. Liverpool were heavily linked with a move for Thuram last summer.
The midfielder has played 15 games for Nice this season. He has also earned a cap for France’s senior team and Transfermarkt values the player at around €40 million. Christoph Freund has no plans to leave Bayern Munich following interest from Manchester United and Liverpool.
Manchester United are looking to reorganize their football structure after INEOS acquired a minority stake. One of the main items on the club’s agenda is the appointment of a new sporting director. Alongside Dan Ashworth and Paul Mitchell, Bayern Munich’s Christoph Freund is also in the spotlight.
Journalist Christian Falk reports that Liverpool are interested in De Freund, but the Austrian is unlikely to leave his role at Bayern. Falk wrote about Caught Offside: Manchester United and Liverpool FC are reportedly chasing Christoph Freund in their search for a new sporting director.
Falk added that Freund has already turned down an offer from Chelsea. He also liked to work with the size of Babar, Austria and stays near his family. Report: “For all the English that cannot be evaluated between Munich and Salzburg, 1 hour and 30 minutes on the freeway.
Freund’s family still lives in Salzburg. Freund is happy to work for an international group and not be far from his family. “So he is not interested in the current outlook for Britain.” Falk’s report suggests United and the Reds will have to look elsewhere for a new sporting director.
