Monumental if Arteta could disrupt Pep and Klopp dominance

Arsenal fell two points behind leaders Liverpool after beating West Ham. Neville congratulated the Gunners on their win and urged them not to lose steam. If Mikel Arteta can win the Premier League and break the dominance of Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp, it would be a “monumental” achievement, says Gary Neville.

Declan Rice’s long-range goal stunned former club West Ham as Arsenal ran out 6-0 winners at the London Stadium. Arsenal recorded their biggest away win in the Premier League and kept their title hopes alive after beating Liverpool on Sunday to extend the Gunners’ goal difference to second-placed Manchester City.

Neville admitted on the Gary Neville Podcast that he would like to see Arsenal improve this season and that it would be good for the Premier League to end the era of dominance by Manchester City and Liverpool. “It would be huge if Arteta Klopp and Guardiola challenged for the Premier League,” he said. We want chaos.

“Manchester City were fantastic, Guardiola was a genius and Klopp became the best manager of the last six years because he worked with the resources he had against Guardiola.” “If Arteta can get to the core of it, it will be monumental.”

I can’t wait for the next 3 months. I would like to check them out. to discover. And because I know there’s still a long way to go. “Arsenal were criticized by Jamie Carragher for celebrating too much after their win over Liverpool, with Carragher saying:

“You’ve won the game. Go down the tunnel.” That’s the debate ahead of Arsenal’s clash with West Ham, and Neville has urged the Caners to muster their emotional energy to quell the frenzy of the post-match celebrations.

He added: “There have been a lot of jokes this week about over-celebration but this is a serious subject. “Emotions and passions can drain your energy. This is especially true if you get too excited. “From someone who knows this: If you use your emotions too much and go too far, it takes energy.

“Last season, with 10 or 12 games left against Bournemouth, Zinchenko shouted at the fans from his car after completing 120 minutes. Imagine what we don’t see when we use this level of emotion. You can read the effects of this heightened sense.

Arsenal had a great opportunity. They have a great team, a great manager, a strong defense, a strong midfield and a dangerous striker. “If you score a goal, celebrate it for the rest of your life. But when the game ends, you take that goal with you for at least one more game.

Keep control of your performance “They need to get over the last months of the season and focus on their work.” “They are the closest team to Manchester City. Liverpool have a great manager but I think Arsenal are a better team. Arsenal have a lot of energy and passion, which is good, but now we are clashing.

Floyd Mayweather and Muhammad Ali are boxers who responded enthusiastically. “They were so amazing that they were able to do it. There is no such situation in “Arsenal”. It helped that they weren’t on the front line and there was no pressure or expectation.

They have to sit there, sit there, sit there and finally jump. Therefore, they must win the race. Last season I didn’t think they would win the league. We could win this year. They have more control. – I feel sympathy for them.
