The Gunners scored six goals at West Ham United on Sunday to extend their goal difference at Pep Guardiola’s side as City continued to maintain their lead at the top of the table.
Everton were the last team to strike a blow at City as Guardiola’s side continued their dominance after returning from the Club World Cup. Liverpool bounced back to end City’s short run with a 3-1 win over Burnley at Anfield thanks to goals from Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz and Darwin Núñez.The Reds still believe they can achieve the feat in 2022, but have added incentive to finish Klopp’s tenure on a high. However, Neville did not hold back saying he wants Arsenal to win the league, not Liverpool.
