Liverpool is leading the way in the Premier League. A supercomputer has predicted the remainder of the season and Jürgen Klopp will be very happy if it comes true.
Liverpool is in pole position for the Premier League title this season in what would represent the dream exit for Jürgen Klopp. In terms of going out on a high, there would be no better way than lifting the trophy in front of fans at Anfield.
But what are the chances of that happening? Fortunately, a supercomputer put together by Bettingexpert called BETSiE has run its algorithm using all the statistics to predict how the final nine matchdays of the 2023-24 Premier League will pan out.
Manchester City and Arsenal played out a goalless draw over the weekend while Liverpool beat Brighton. Currently, Liverpool is on 67 points with Arsenal on 65 and Manchester City on 64.
The supercomputer simulated the Premier League season 100,000 times. It takes into account all match results from last season (across all competitions), pre-season results and the current season and comes up with a projection for the remainder of the season based on pre-season expectations and the expected goals earned both for and against during the campaign.
And now, for the first time this season, the Manchester City vs Arsenal draw has tilted the title race in Liverpool’s favor. The Reds are now BETSiE’s favorites, being given a 48.1 per cent chance to win the title. BETSiE predicts Liverpool to be ahead of Arsenal by a point to win the title with Manchester City coming in third place.
