Liverpool will be travelling to the Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the Premier League this weekend. They beat Sheffield United 3-1 in their previous game and will carry a lot of confidence.

The Reds are leading the domestic league with 70 points after 30 rounds of play and still have a two-point advantage. It means it’s Liverpool’s title this season and they would have only themselves to blame if any turnaround occurs towards the end.

Defence:

Caoimhin Kelleher was formidable with the gloves in the previous game and will be deployed between the sticks once again. Right-back Conor Bradley had a tough night against Sheffield United, where he conceded an own goal and couldn’t leave any positive impact on the game. However, he is unlikely to face any punishment for that.

The centre-back duo of Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk continue to build the wall in front of their goal. Andrew Robertson is expected to return to the left-back position after having recovered from an ankle injury, meaning Joe Gomez will be sent to the bench.

Liverpool are to get a massive boost in the form of Wataru Endo, who should be starting in this fixture. It means Ryan Gravenberch will be dropped from the lineup. The Japanese midfielder operates as number six, allowing Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai to play higher on the pitch.

No change in the attacking line as the trio of Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah remain intact. Salah didn’t have a good time on Thursday. Hence, he will be eager to find the back of the net against the Red Devils.
