Liverpool winger Luis Diaz has broken silence over his future amid speculation that he could move to Barcelona this summer.
The Colombian has been one of the best performers for the Reds this term. He has registered 13 goals and five assists in all competitions.
Despite this, there has been frequent talk that he could pursue a new challenge, particularly with the Blaugrana looking to sign him.
Diaz has now revealed that he is very happy to be at the Merseyside outfit and there are great years in front of the club. He has no doubt about that.
He said: “You learn more and more to be a professional, to be a better person, to be a good team-mate and a good guy.”
“The truth is that I am very happy to be here. Great years are coming for the club, I have no doubt about that.”
Liverpool are currently on 78 points for the Premier League campaign. They are no longer in contention to lift the top-flight title.
The players will still want to end the season on a high by beating Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers in their final two fixtures.
