AC Milan targets Ryan Gravenberch?

Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is reportedly on AC Milan’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window. Gravenberch moved to Anfield from Bayern Munich a year ago but struggled to nail down a regular starting spot under Jurgen Klopp.

He will hope to benefit from the arrival of countryman Arne Slot and was this week named in the Netherlands’ squad for the European Championships. But Milan is ready to reignite its interest, according to Calcio Mercato.

The Italian giants were keen on Gravenberch when he was at Ajax in 2022 but missed out as he joined Bayern. It is claimed Milan has continued to monitor his progress and believes he could be snapped up this summer.

Manchester United has emerged as an option for Sporting CP defender Ousmane Diomande this summer after Liverpool reportedly cooled its interest. The 20-year-old has caught the eye of a host of clubs with his impressive performances for the Portuguese champions.

 

Amid Liverpool’s links to manager Ruben Amorim, Diomande was also said to be a transfer target. Newcastle had also been credited with an interest but the Daily Express reports both clubs are considering alternative options.

And that has opened the door for Manchester United, who is seeking defensive reinforcements in the summer transfer window. It is stated that Diomande has an $87m (£68m/€80m) release clause but Sporting could sell him for half of that.
