Liverpool FC is reportedly close to reaching a record-breaking agreement to sign a player who would serve as a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool FC is close to signing Takefusa Kubo, a 23-year-old Japanese winger from Real Sociedad, as a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah.

 

Kubo, dubbed the “Japanese Messi”, has a release clause of €60 million (£51.4 million) and Liverpool is willing to meet it, offering €65 million (£55.7 million) in installments, plus an annual salary of €15 million (£12.8 million).

his would be a record-breaking transfer for Japanese football. Kubo has been preparing for a potential move to Liverpool by studying English and is excited about the opportunity to join the team.
