Darwin Nunez netted the first and only goal of the match with a right-footed shot from very close range after being set up by Mohamed Salah in the 27th minute. Kelleher made six saves at the other end, maintaining a clean sheet for Liverpool on the night.
The Irish shot-stopper has now appeared in three matches for the Reds since first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker sustained a hamstring injury at the beginning of the month. The 25-year-old has maintained two clean sheets in four matches across competitions so far this season.
Kelleher was also announced the Player of the Match by Ireland on their official X account in their last Nations League clash against Greece on October 13.
