Liverpool will LAUGH at Pep Guardiola’s RIDICULOUS excuse for Man City defeat

Liverpool fans are likely to dismiss Pep Guardiola’s latest excuse for Manchester City’s shock defeat to Bournemouth, with many believing the Spaniard is grasping at straws.

Guardiola cited the hectic festive schedule and fatigue as the primary reasons for City’s 2-1 loss to the Cherries. However, Reds supporters will likely view this explanation as laughable, given Liverpool’s own demanding schedule and impressive performances.

“Fatigue? Really?” wrote Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, on Twitter. “City’s squad is deep enough to handle a few games in quick succession. Pep’s just trying to deflect attention from his team’s poor display.”

Guardiola’s claims of fatigue ring hollow, considering City’s squad boasts immense depth and quality. The likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, and Phil Foden are expected to perform consistently, regardless of the schedule.
