Fans have heaped praise on Conor Bradley on social media following his display in Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League clash against Real Madrid. The match ended in a 2-0 win for the Reds at Anfield on November 27.
Following an eventful yet goalless first half, the home side opened the scoring with Alexis Mac Allister’s right-footed shot after being set up by Bradley in the 52nd minute. Cody Gakpo doubled the lead with a header from close range via an assist by Andy Robertson following a short corner in the 76th minute
Along with his assist, Bradley attempted two shots (one on target) and four tackles (two successful) in the match, before being replaced by Joe Gomez in the 87th minute. The 21-year-old right-back had 70 touches and one key pass while maintaining a pass accuracy of 84% and winning eight duels.
