It is a quick turnaround for Newcastle United, who face Liverpool on Wednesday night after their disappointing draw at Selhurst Park.
Newcastle drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace on Saturday, with Daniel Munoz’s stoppage time header denying the Magpies what would have been an undeserved three points.
Eddie Howe’s side are now preparing for the game against Liverpool, but the quick turnaround has impacted the Newcastle United manager’s training plans.
The club have released photos from Monday’s training session to their official website, with those players who started on Saturday seemingly focussing on gym work. The likes of Joelinton, Fabian Schar and Bruno Guimaraes are seen inside, rather than outside battling the elements.
On the grass, those who did not start against Crystal Palace have been put through their paces by Eddie Howe. The club’s photos show the likes of Sean Longstaff, Jacob Murphy and Miguel Almiron taking part in training, while there is also an appearance from 17-year-old Sean Neave.
