The New England Patriots have officially announced the hiring of Mike Vrabel as their 16th head coach in franchise history. Vrabel, who previously served as the head coach of the Tennessee Titans, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to the Patriots.
Vrabel’s coaching career began in 2014 as the linebackers coach for the Houston Texans. He later joined the Titans as their defensive coordinator before taking over as head coach in 2018. During his time in Tennessee, Vrabel led the Titans to three consecutive playoff appearances, including a trip to the AFC Championship game in 2019.
The Patriots are confident that Vrabel’s experience, leadership, and coaching acumen make him the ideal candidate to lead the team into a new era of success.
“We are thrilled to welcome Mike Vrabel to the Patriots family,” said Patriots owner Robert Kraft. “Mike’s proven track record of success, both as a player and a coach, makes him an outstanding fit for our organization.”
Vrabel’s hiring marks a new chapter in Patriots history, and fans are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to see him lead the team onto the field.
“I am honored to be joining the Patriots organization,” said Vrabel. “I am excited to get to work and help bring another championship to the city of New England.”
With Vrabel at the helm, the Patriots are poised to make a strong push for the playoffs in the upcoming season.
