BREAKING: MONTGOMERY READY TO RUMBLE! Confident RB Set to Return After 3-Game Absence

David Montgomery, the Detroit Lions’ running back, is feeling confident about his return to the field after missing the last three games due to a sprained MCL in his knee ¹. Montgomery suffered the injury on December 15 against the Buffalo Bills, but after seeking opinions from multiple doctors, he opted for rehab instead of surgery.

 

In his first practice back on Tuesday, Montgomery was a full participant in the walkthrough and expressed his readiness to return, saying, “I mean, shoot, I think it feels better than it did before I got hurt” ¹. The Lions are likely to ease him back into action, but his return is expected to boost the team’s offense.

Montgomery’s teammate, Amon-Ra St. Brown, is excited about his return, saying, “He’s a big part of this team… To have him back, we’re all pretty excited on the offensive side of the ball” ¹. With Montgomery’s physical running style and toughness, he’s expected to make a significant impact in the Lions’ upcoming games.
