The Detroit Lions became one of the NFL’s favorite teams during the 2024 season as quarterback Jared Goff, record-setting running back Jahmyr Gibbs, and the rest of the team’s stars turned heads at Ford Field. The Lions lost to the Commanders in the second round of the playoffs, but the memories of a magical season have remained.
On Saturday, six of the Lions’ biggest stars arrived in style at the Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, Florida, looking ready to entertain fans at pro football’s All-Star showcase. Lions stars wore matching team color t-shirts while appearing relaxed and unified ahead of Sunday’s Pro Bowl Games Championship, which will be played from 3 to 6 p.m. ET at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
Fans reacted to the large “pride” of Lions in the comments section as they vocalized what they characterized as Pro Bowl snubs.
“Should be Penei, Amon-Ra, Kerby and Hutch too!” one fan said.
“Six of them, yessss!” another fan added.
“Are those shirts going to be available to be purchased?” another fan asked.
“Kerb being snubbed is an act of terrorism,” another fan said about Lions safety Kerby Joseph, who led the NFL in interceptions with nine.
“Should have been in the Super Bowl,” another fan added.
