Pat Riley’s ‘Three-Peat’ Trademark Deal with NFL Amid Chiefs’ Potential Historic Win

The NFL has reached an agreement with NBA legend Pat Riley to use his trademarked term “Three-Peat” if the Kansas City Chiefs secure their third consecutive Super Bowl victory. Riley, who coined and trademarked the phrase during his tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers in the late 1980s, has previously profited from its use during other teams’ championship runs. According to reports, any royalties from this deal will be directed to the Pat Riley Family Foundation.

The Chiefs are on the brink of making NFL history, as no team has ever won three straight Super Bowls. If they triumph in the upcoming game, fans can expect official “Three-Peat” merchandise to be available, thanks to this agreement.
