The Lakers have been in dire need of a dominant rim protector and interior presence to complement Anthony Davis, and Mark Williams fits that role perfectly. The 7-foot center, known for his elite shot-blocking, rebounding, and defensive presence, gives L.A. a much-needed upgrade in the paint.

Williams, who has been productive for Charlotte despite injuries this season, brings youth and energy to the Lakers’ rotation. With his ability to defend the rim, run the floor, and finish lobs, he could play a crucial role in the Lakers’ playoff push.
