With the 2025 NFL Draft still months away, it’s time to start looking at potential prospects and how they might fit with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In our first mock draft of the season, we’ll take a look at who the Steelers might select with their seven picks.
Round 1: Pick 24
Deonte Banks, CB, Maryland
The Steelers need help in the secondary, and Banks is one of the top cornerbacks in the draft. He’s a physical player with excellent size and speed, and he’s shown the ability to shut down opposing receivers.
Round 2: Pick 56
Braelon Allen, RB, Wisconsin
The Steelers need a running back who can complement Najee Harris, and Allen is a big, physical back who can pound out yards on the ground. He’s also shown the ability to catch passes out of the backfield.
Round 3: Pick 88
Cameron Latu, TE, Alabama
The Steelers need help at tight end, and Latu is one of the top prospects at the position. He’s a big, athletic tight end who can stretch the seam and make plays in the passing game.
Round 4: Pick 120
Noah Sewell, LB, Oregon
The Steelers need help at linebacker, and Sewell is a physical player who can stop the run and rush the quarterback. He’s also shown the ability to drop into coverage and make plays in space.
Round 5: Pick 152
Rashad Torrence II, S, Florida
The Steelers need help in the secondary, and Torrence is a physical safety who can provide depth and support. He’s also shown the ability to make plays in the passing game.
Round 6: Pick 184
Caleb Chandler, G, Louisville
The Steelers need help on the offensive line, and Chandler is a physical guard who can provide depth and support. He’s also shown the ability to play center and provide versatility.
Round 7: Pick 216
Jalen Graham, CB, Purdue
The Steelers need help in the secondary, and Graham is a physical cornerback who can provide depth and support. He’s also shown the ability to make plays in the passing game.
This mock draft addresses several of the Steelers’ biggest needs, including cornerback, running back, and tight end. It also provides depth and support at several other positions, including linebacker, safety, and offensive line. Of course, this is just one possible scenario, and the actual draft could play out very differently.
