Report: Fired Browns coordinator lands new NFL job

FRISCO, Texas (WKBN) — Recently-fired Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey is being hired by the Dallas Cowboys, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

According to the report, Dorsey will serve as pass game specialist. 

In his lone season with the Browns as offensive coordinator, Cleveland finished the season 28th in yards and 32nd in points.

Following a slow start to the season, the Browns turned over play-calling duties to Dorsey, but the offense continued to struggle. He came to Cleveland after previously serving as offensive coordinator in Buffalo. 

Dorsey now joins the staff of Brian Schottenheimer, who was recently hired as Cowboys head coach.
