Tennessee Vols Make Strong Impression on 2026 Five-Star Wide Receiver Tristen Keys
The Tennessee Vols are among the top contenders for 2026 five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys, who visited the campus earlier this month. Keys, rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 wide receiver and No. 4 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class, was impressed by the Vols’ aggressive recruitment efforts.
“I haven’t quite found that No. 1 right now,” Keys told On3. “I’d say Tennessee is going at it real hard. I’d say Tennessee is going harder than anyone else.”
Keys highlighted the Vols’ ability to recruit elite quarterbacks, such as Faizon Brandon and Nico Iamaleava, as a significant factor in his interest. “They do a good job at the quarterback position… You want somebody that can spin the ball when you’re a wide receiver.”
While Keys has yet to name a leader, the Vols are in a strong position alongside Alabama, LSU, and Texas A&M. Landing Keys would be a massive coup for Tennessee, as the five-star recruit has the potential to be one of the best players in the nation as a true freshman.
Keys is expected to announce his commitment this summer after taking official visits.
