Who is Kam Williams?

Williams, a versatile forward with an impressive shooting touch, averaged 9.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game as a freshman for the Green Wave. His efficiency from beyond the arc was particularly noteworthy, shooting 41.5% from three-point range and 48.5% from the field. His ability to stretch the floor as a tall wing fits perfectly into Pope’s vision for a modern, fast-paced Kentucky offense.

The rising sophomore had several suitors, including Baylor, Florida, Louisville, Texas Tech, and LSU, but ultimately chose Kentucky due to its storied basketball tradition, player development track record, and the opportunity to play under Coach Pope.
