2025 NBA Combine attendeees announced
It’ll be interesting to see the measurements of Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, and Ace Bailey
The NBA announced the attendees of the 2025 NBA Draft Combine today, held May 11-18, including 75 players. Here is the complete list:
One of the new rules for the combine, which the NBA deserves credit for, is that players who are invited are required to attend and participate in the combine. This makes for a much more entertaining and useful event. Fans and front office personnel will get to watch players perform drills and get their official measurements, something they wouldn’t always get in the past. It’s much better for teams and does away with the nonsense of the past when agents would hide information about players to influence their draft position
Here are some things I’ll be watching for at the combine.
How tall is VJ Edgecombe?
We’ve seen Edgecombe listed at 6’5”. Is that with shoes? Having watched a lot of Edgecombe tape he looks a little smaller to me than 6’5”. Maybe that’s just how he appears on TV, but it would be nice to get a confirmation of that.
How does Egor Demin shoot the ball?
Will Demin put on a show? His passing is remarkable, and he is easily the best in the draft class at assisting the ball. Can he put up an elite shooting performance that could improve his position? I’m personally hoping the Jazz can get him with their second pick. Does he improve his stock enough that the Jazz can’t get him?
Measurements for Cooper Flagg, Ace Bailey, and Dylan Harper
The consensus top-3 picks will all participate, and you can bet that teams will pay close attention to every aspect of each player. Is Bailey truly 6’10”? If so, it makes the decision for pick #2 interesting. How big is Dylan Harper? Is Cooper Flagg as big as they say? All of this will be fascinating, and that doesn’t consider some of the scrimmages and quickness drills.
