New Orleans Saints 2025 Preseason Schedule: Dates, Times, and Matchups Revealed

The New Orleans Saints have revealed their 2025 preseason schedule. With an ongoing quarterback battle and exciting players on opposing teams, these games are ones you don’t want to miss.

Preseason Week 1: At Los Angeles Chargers

Where: SoFi Stadium

The Saints will start their preseason on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers. New Orleans and Los Angeles have a history of meeting each other in the preseason with the two sides often meeting for joint practices. The Saints last hosted the Chargers during the 2023 NFL preseason. Outside of the ongoing Saints quarterback battle, there are plenty of reasons to tune into this game. Los Angeles has plenty of intriguing draft picks, such as Omarion Hampton, Tre Harris, and Kyle Kennard. All players could see play time during this preseason matchup.

Preseason Week 2: vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Where: Caesar Superdome

The Saints will host the Jacksonville Jaguars on August 17th in the Caesars Superdome. New Orleans last hosted the Jaguars during the 2021 preseason.

The quarterback competition is sure to heat up at this point, but the most enticing reason to tune into this week two matchup is WR/CB Travis Hunter. Hunter is a unique prospect and the Jaguars are likely to test the versatile playmaker throughout preseason.Preseason Week 3: vs. Denver Broncos

For the preseason finale, the Saints will host the Denver Broncos for a noon kickoff. New Orleans and Denver haven’t faced each other in a preseason game since 2001.

The Broncos are a team on the rise with star quarterback Bo Nix rising above expectations. And as Saints fans know, Sean Payton has a way of finding diamonds in the rough and turning them into stars. Players such as RJ Harvey, TE Caleb Lohner, and WR Pat Bryant are among the Broncos draft picks that could be ones to watch in the Saints’ final preseason matchup.
