After pulling out of the NBA Draft, Otega Oweh is back in Lexington for one final season with the Kentucky Wildcats, and he’s bringing the excitement to the next generation. The All-SEC guard is hosting his first-ever youth basketball camp on July 23 at Sports Center, and it’s going to be an unforgettable experience for young ballers in grades 1-8.
Otega Oweh’s passion for basketball is contagious, and he’s eager to share his expertise with the local community. At the Otega Oweh Basketball ProCamp, participants will get to work directly with Oweh, learning new techniques, improving their game, and having a blast. The camp will feature position-specific drills, interactive games, and motivational discussions led by Oweh himself.
Young athletes will have the opportunity to meet and learn from the likely Preseason SEC Player of the Year, ask questions, and receive feedback on their performance. Each participant will receive an individual photo with Oweh and have the opportunity to bring an item to camp to be signed. They’ll also receive a limited edition Otega Oweh Basketball ProCamp t-shirt, with additional upgrades available during checkout.
The comprehensive camp experience is designed for athletes of all skill levels, whether they’re new to the game or have been playing for years. With a camper-to-coach ratio of 10:1, participants will get personalized instruction from top area high school and college coaches. Individual and team awards will be given in each age group, adding a fun competitive element to the camp.
