A 6-foot-9 power forward from New Jersey, Ware arrived at Kentucky as a highly-rated four-star recruit and top-40 prospect from the class of 2020. His college debut came during one of the most turbulent seasons in Wildcat history — the infamous 9-16 campaign of 2020-21 under head coach John Calipari.
Despite the team’s struggles, Ware quickly became known for his relentless hustle, defensive intensity, and unwavering commitment to the program. Though he played a limited offensive role, his effort made him a fan favorite in Lexington, especially among those who value grit and team-first basketball.
