Cooper Flagg’s Second Summer League Game Showed A World Of Difference

“After a lackluster first summer league game, Cooper Flagg was determined to prove himself. And prove himself he did, with a dominating 31-point performance against the San Antonio Spurs! In 31 minutes of action, Flagg shot 10/20 from the field, 3/8 from beyond the arc, and 8/13 from the line, showcasing his impressive skills.

But what’s even more impressive is Flagg’s pride and competitiveness. Despite being out of game shape, he refused to settle for anything less than his best. Spurs rookie Carter Bryant gave him a tough time defensively, but Flagg wasn’t having it. This level of determination and drive is exactly what NBA teams are looking for in a prospect.

It’s worth noting that Flagg had previously ripped Bryant’s team, the San Antonio Spurs’ summer league affiliate, for 24 and 30 points in two separate games last year. This latest performance shows that Flagg is building on that momentum and continuing to develop his skills.

However, former NBA player Tim Legler spotted a potential issue with Flagg’s shot. According to Legler, Flagg’s wrist movement is affecting the flight of his shot, which could impact his three-point shooting. Legler believes that if Flagg can fix this issue, he could become a high 20s to low 30s three-point shooter.

But with Flagg’s work ethic and the right guidance, it’s possible he can fix this issue. As Legler points out, having Klay Thompson on the team could be a huge benefit for Flagg. Thompson is a renowned shooter, and his expertise could help Flagg refine his shot.

Additionally, former Duke guard Chip Engelland, a renowned shot doctor, is currently working as an assistant with the Oklahoma City Thunder. If Flagg were to receive guidance from someone like Engelland, he might just find the help he needs to perfect his shot. Can Flagg build on this performance and become a dominant force in the league? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain – Cooper Flagg is a player to watch. With his talent, work ethic, and determination, he’s got all the makings of a superstar.”
